Smoke BBQ Taqueria re-located to Lawrenceville from Homestead in 2015. Springboard Design was commissioned to successfully translate their Texas-style barbeque menu into a comfortable and cozy environment.

The restaurant is open and bright, with salvaged windows used as spatial dividers between the entry and restaurant. The main dining space, much like the food, is full of familiar old favorites with a bright twist. The kitchen boasts a bar where you can watch Smoke’s pit masters gather logs for their smoker which fills the entire place with a slow-smoked barbeque smell.

Smoke’s interior marries an eclectic vibe with classic simplicity. Contemporary color and plenty of found objects give Smoke’s food the space it deserves.
