Springboard Design

Client Testimonials

“Community Living and Support Services, originally founded 60 + years ago as UCP Pittsburgh, has a long history of diversity and inclusion. Over the years, we have had the pleasure to work with Springboard Design on several projects, from 2 multi-million dollar renovation and reuse projects, to multiple other smaller modification and addition projects. We are currently working with Springboard on a large deck addition to our Swissvale facility. We have found Paul and Bill to be creative, collaborative, and responsive throughout the entire design and build out process. They understand the nuances of working within the non-profit world, and worked closely with our Staff and Board of Directors throughout the projects. As a non-profit, budget is always one of the key considerations in projects. Springboard has an understanding of this, and has been creative and innovative in dealing with design and construction related issues to protect or reduce the project budget. Personally, I have worked with Paul and Bill on most of our projects, and would engage their services again in the future without reservation.”

“Springboard Design has worked with the Johnstown Area Heritage Association (JAHA) on the revitalization of its Johnstown Flood Museum facility. They have been very respectful in their approach to the building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. JAHA is a non-profit organization dependent of grants and donations, and Springboard has stuck with us through an elongated project schedule that included several interruptions as fundraising proceeded. I have also much appreciated Paul Rosenblatt’s enthusiastic participation in board and committee presentations, and his support in making presentations to potential donors.”

“We worked with Springboard Design to design and manage the construction of our off-the-grid home. Springboard led the process with vision and access to resources that allowed us to make some of the more complex decisions regarding solar power, water heating, A/C (and more) with confidence. They ensured we achieved the look and maintainability we wanted. Springboard was a valued sounding board and partner. We can heartily recommend Springboard Design.”

“We have partnered with Springboard Design on several occasions and, in each instance, their involvement contributed to an improved outcome. Real estate is complex and oversights can be costly. Our clients were contemplating entering into a real estate transaction and Springboard was engaged to minimize the unknowns. Springboard’s work positioned our client to make an informed decision and thereby reduced risk. In our experience, the team at Springboard is thorough, responsive, flexible and sensitive to the client’s needs. I recommend Springboard without hesitation and would welcome the opportunity to work together in the future.”

“Community Human Services has worked with Springboard Design on a variety of projects going back to 2012. Like many non-profit organizations, we historically have prioritized our resources on the work of our mission and not on the infrastructure to support it. From our first conversation, Paul and his team focused on getting to know us, our mission, our values, and our services to ensure that our spaces truly met our needs and supported our work. They were able to work within the confines of our budget to help us identify strategies to better utilize the spaces we have, consolidate locations into one, evaluate potential new buildings, and serve as a designer and coordinator as we moved into our new main office. The results just a few years later have been happier employees, reduced operating costs, and room to grow and expand our service portfolio. If we ever need help with a space or design challenge, Springboard is the first partner we call.”
